They include a recipe list, cooking tips, cooking timers and a bar code supported shopping list. You can switch between them by touching the 'Select Tool' button in the lower left corner. This will popup your tool selection screen and you can select what tool to use.  Lets look at the contacts recipe list.

(or swipe your finger left or right to do the same thing)  (To add or edit recipes see the Admin section - To change the way recipes are displayed see the How To section) Touch a recipe and the view screen will open.

Use the Back button to return to the main recipe screen.

- Shopping List -

On screen shopping list that can be printed, copied or synced with a Windows PPC. Use the 'PREV and NEXT page icons to change pages. (or swipe your finger left or right to do the same thing)  On the right hand side is the PRINT and COPY buttons. PRINT will send the list to the default printer and COPY will create a file on disk that can be moved or copied somewhere. (see the How To section on creating a custom copy routine) In the lower right are the editing icons. These allow adding, editing and deleting of items.

If you select Add or Edit (touch an item and then press the EDIT button)  then the editing screen will be shown.

Just type in (or scan a barcode - see the How To section for enabling the bar code feature)  your item and touch the SAVE button on the on screen keyboard. The BATCH MODE button allows more than one item to be entered so if it is turned on then touching the SAVE button on the keyboard will save the entry and clear it out and wait for the next one and you press the DONE button when you have finished. The button at the far right of the editing box will do a manual lookup of a barcode. If your barcode scanner is setup properly then you should never need to use this.

There is also a Pocket PC shopping list add on program. This program will sync using your wireless network so you can take your shopping list right to the store on your Pocket PC or Windows Mobile 5 phone. You then delete the items you purchase and re-sync back to eHome.
